USD 360 Caldwell Schools is seeking a vocational agriculture teacher/FFA sponsor for the 2023-24 school year. The district has maintained a metals, welding, woods, and drafting curriculum, but the community is interested in starting a new vocational agricultural program with an emphasis on agriculture and science. The teacher will have full support of the BOE in the implementation of this new program. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited institution and will hold a valid Kansas teaching license.
The Agricultural Education Teacher and FFA Sponsor will be starting a new program for the school and community. Caldwell is an agricultural community that is willing to support this program in their school district. We are looking for a teacher who is energetic- willing to put in the time to implement a successful program and start a tradition and pride of our FFA program throughout the state and nation.

· a current resume,
· a list of references,
· a copy of your current Kansas teaching license or prove your ability to obtain a Kansas license by August 1, 2023,
· official college transcripts,

Interviews will be scheduled and conducted after completed files are received and references are checked. Position will be filled as soon as a qualified applicant is available.
Being located in Sumner County, the teachers have received yearly stipends from the Kansas Star Casino to purchase classroom materials. A great opportunity in a rural school with great community and BOE support.
