An opportunity is available at Royal Valley High School for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. We are seeking a half-time Agriculture and half-time Chemistry/Physical Science teacher. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must possess a valid Kansas teaching license or have the ability to acquire one.

We are committed to expanding our CTE programs and addressing our science teacher shortage, and encourage interested candidates to reach out to Cassie Geis geisc@rv337.org for additional information, even if they lack certification in these areas.

Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

This role follows a block schedule, with four periods per day and one planning period. On Fridays, a modified block schedule is in place, with eight periods and two planning periods. The successful candidate will teach two Agriculture classes in partnership with our highly-regarded FFA teacher and program, as well as chemistry and physical science.

Salary Information

Base salary for the current school year starts at $41,200.  Salary schedule includes steps for years of experience and college credit hours. A copy of our salary schedule can be found on our Royal Valley Website.
