Extension Agent – Central Kansas District (Minneapolis, KS)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Cade Rensink will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Central Kansas District as the Livestock Production Agent, effective March 25, 2018. Central Kansas District has offices in Minneapolis and Salina.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and Industry and a master’s degree in Range Science both from Kansas State University. 

Rensink most recently was employed as a loan officer with Bennington State Bank and was previously employed by K-State Research and Extension in Central Kansas District and Coffey County.

Extension Agent – Barber Co. (Medicine Lodge)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Justin Goodno will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Barber County as an Agriculture and Natural Resources agent, effective March 25, 2018.  Barber County’s office is in Medicine Lodge.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Goodno has previously been been employed as a District Manager with the Kansas Department of Agriculture.

Extension Agent – Thomas County (Colby)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Madison Mackley will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Thomas County as an Agriculture and Natural Resources agent, effective May 20, 2018.  Thomas County’s office is located in Colby, Kansas.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agronomy with a minor in Animal Sciences and Industry from Kansas State University.

Mackley has most recently been employed as an Office Assistant in the Kansas State University College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s office.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Jennifer Stoss will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Finney County as a Horticulture Extension Agent, effective June 3, 2018. Finney County’s office is located in Garden City, Kansas.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education from Fort Hays State University.

Stoss has most recently been employed as a High School Agriculture Educator at Ness City Jr/Sr High School.

Horticulture agents develop and deliver educational programs such as horticulture crop production, marketing and economics related to the horticulture industry, landscape design maintenance and improvement, conservation of natural resources and pest management.
