Dr. Jennifer Brantley to Serve as Sedgwick County Extension Director
MANHATTAN, Kan. –Dr. Jennifer Brantley will begin serving as the Sedgwick County Extension Director, effective January 13, 2019. Sedgwick County’s office is in Wichita.
She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University, her master’s degree in Administration in Higher Education from University of Missouri – Kansas City, and her bachelor’s in Biology from Fort Hays State University.
Brantley has most recently been employed by Envision University as a Manager of Public Education and Outreach.
Amanda Staub to Serve as Stafford County Extension Agent
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Amanda Staub will begin serving as the Stafford County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Stafford County’s office is located in St. John, Kansas.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Fort Hays State University.
Staub has most recently been employed as the Office Professional in the Stafford County Office. Prior to that, she was the Fund Management Specialist for CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions in Great Bend, Kansas.

For school year 19-20, Rock Creek Jr/Sr High School will start a technology education program. This is a new program with an opportunity for the incoming teacher to help design and create tech ed pathways. In addition to teaching there will be possible coaching/sponsoring opportunities. MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tony Whitehair will begin serving as the Dickinson County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Dickinson County’s office is located in Abilene, Kansas.
He earned his master’s degree in Agronomy and also has a bachelor’s in Agronomy with a minor in Agribusiness, both from Kansas State University.
Whitehair has most recently been employed as an Assistant Scientist for Kansas State University.
