Agriculture Teacher – Jefferson County North

Vocational Agriculture Teacher

USD 339, Jefferson County North, is accepting applications for a Vocational Agriculture teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking for an energetic Ag teacher willing to go above and beyond in his/her efforts in creating a top-notch Ag/FFA Program. Qualified applicants should have a current teaching license with appropriate endorsement. The position and program are new. Course offerings could include welding, animal science, Intro to Ag, or other coursework in the field of Agriculture for grades 9-12. The district will also be implementing an FFA Chapter, which will include supplemental pay. The USD 339 Board of Education is supported in the creation of this program by a newly formed community support group “JCN Ag Education Foundation”.  They are eager to support the program in effort and financial means.

We are excited to welcome a staff member who will build a classroom culture that encourages community engagement, focuses on student growth and academic achievement, and maintains a classroom that is designed and organized for maximal student learning.
