We are excited to offer a teaching opportunity at a very attractive location in the state of Kansas!  Perry-Lecompton Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a certified AG Ed teaching position for the 2021-2022 school year. Qualified applicants should have the appropriate endorsement. This position and program are new! Course offerings could include animal science, welding, Intro to Ag, or other coursework in the field of Agriculture for grades 8-12. The district will also be implementing an FFA program, which will include supplemental pay. We are looking for an energetic Ag teacher willing to go above and beyond in his/her efforts to creating a top-notch Ag/FFA Program. Coaching and/or extracurricular supplemental opportunities are usually available.

Each classroom in the building is equipped with a Promethean board, and each teacher is issued a classroom desktop computer and/or a laptop, plus an iPad for teaching and administrative tasks. USD 343 is a 1:1 iPad district. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology for instruction and communication with minimal support.

We generally have various supplemental coaching/sponsor position available.
