 Agricultural Equipment Technology Instructor

North Central Kansas Technical College is seeking an instructor for the Agricultural Equipment Technology program on the Beloit Campus. Duties include providing state of the art instruction, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment and securing positive business and industry relationships.

Agricultural Equipment Technology prepares students for a career in the agricultural equipment industry. Students will receive education in diagnosing, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment manufacturers systems and components. The program includes experience with live work.

Position will begin as soon as a qualified applicant is hired. Pay commensurate with qualifications, plus fringe benefits. Applications will be accepted until a qualified applicant is selected.

Extension Agent – West Plains District

Lauren Litton will begin serving as the West Plains District agriculture and natural resources extension agent, effective July 22. West Plains District has offices in Garden City and Scott City, Kansas.  Litton’s primary office is in Garden City.

Litton earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and her master’s degree in agricultural education and communication from Kansas State University.  She has most recently been employed as an agriculture instructor for Deerfield Middle/High School in Deerfield, Kansas.

Agriculture and natural resources agents develop and deliver educational programming related, but not limited, to agronomic and livestock production; agricultural economics; management and public policy; horticultural production and management; natural resources conservation; and environmental stewardship.
