Extension Agent – Wildcat District (Independence)

Adaven Scronce to Serve as Wildcat District Extension Agent

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Adaven Scronce will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Wildcat District as a Diversified Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective June 30, 2019.  The Wildcat District has offices in Girard, Altamont, Fredonia, Independence, and Pittsburg.  Adaven will be based in the Independence office.

She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her master’s degree in International Agriculture at Oklahoma State University.

Scronce has most recently been employed as an animal technician at E (Kika) de la Garza Institute for Goat Research in Langston, Oklahoma.

Extension Agent – Midway District (Russell)

Marcia Gier to Serve as Midway District Extension Agent

 

Marcia Gier joined the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Midway District as a 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent, effective June 30, 2019.  The Midway District has offices in Ellsworth and Russell; Marcia is based in the Midway District’s Russell Office.

 

She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her master’s degree in Classroom and Instruction at Kansas State University.

 

Gier has most recently been employed as a success coordinator for USD 407 in Russell, KS.
