Extension Agent – Livestock Production-Wildcat District (Altamont)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Wendie Powell will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Wildcat District as a Livestock Production Extension Agent, effective March 10, 2019. Wildcat District has offices in Girard, Pittsburg, Altamont, Indpendence, and Fredonia.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her Master’s in Agricultural Science, both from Texas A&M University.

Powell has most recently been employed as an Agriculture and 4-H Extension Educator and Director in Oklahoma.

Livestock Production agents develop and deliver educational programs such as breed and species selection and management, nutrition, livestock facilities, animal identification, marketing, best practices and sustainable production techniques.

Extension Agent – Rawlins County (Atwood)

Stephanie Kramer to Serve as Rawlins County Extension Agent

 MANHATTAN, Kan. – Stephanie Kramer will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Rawlins County as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Rawlins County’s office is located in Atwood, Kansas.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Kansas State University.

 Kramer has most recently been employed as an Operations Specialist for Farmers Bank & Trust in Atwood, Kansas.

Extension Agent – Sedgwick County (Wichita)

Jeff Seiler to Serve as Sedgwick County Extension Agent

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Jeff Seiler will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Sedgwick County as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 20, 2019.  Sedgwick County’s office is located in Wichita, Kansas.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Kansas State University.

Seiler has most recently been employed as a Research Associate for AgReliant Genetics at the Mount Hope Research Station.

He will provide leadership for the development of educational programming related to production, management, and marketing issues involved in crop production as well as programs related to natural resources.

Extension Director – Sedgwick County (Wichita)

Dr. Jennifer Brantley to Serve as Sedgwick County Extension Director

MANHATTAN, Kan. –Dr. Jennifer Brantley will begin serving as the Sedgwick County Extension Director, effective January 13, 2019. Sedgwick County’s office is in Wichita.

She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University, her master’s degree in Administration in Higher Education from University of Missouri – Kansas City, and her bachelor’s in Biology from Fort Hays State University.

 Brantley has most recently been employed by Envision University as a Manager of Public Education and Outreach.

Extension Agent – Stafford County (St. John)

Amanda Staub to Serve as Stafford County Extension Agent

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Amanda Staub will begin serving as the Stafford County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Stafford County’s office is located in St. John, Kansas.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Fort Hays State University.

Staub has most recently been employed as the Office Professional in the Stafford County Office. Prior to that, she was the Fund Management Specialist for CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions in Great Bend, Kansas.
