Tony Whitehair to Serve as Dickinson County Extension Agent
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tony Whitehair will begin serving as the Dickinson County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Dickinson County’s office is located in Abilene, Kansas.
He earned his master’s degree in Agronomy and also has a bachelor’s in Agronomy with a minor in Agribusiness, both from Kansas State University.
Whitehair has most recently been employed as an Assistant Scientist for Kansas State University.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Brett Melton will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – River Valley District as a Livestock Production Agent, effective July 2, 2018. River Valley District has offices in Belleville, Clay Center, Concordia, and Washington.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and Industry from Kansas State University and is earning his master’s degree in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
Melton has most recently been employed as a Feedlot Technician at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Pallace Schnittker will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Golden Prairie District as the Horticulture Agent, effective April 23, 2018. Golden Prairie District has offices in Grainfield, Oakley and WaKeeney.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with a specialization in Greenhouse and Nursery Management from Kansas State University.
Schnittker has most recently been employed with Cru campus Ministry in Manhattan, KS
