Extension Agent – Douglas County (Lawrence)

Mallory Meek to Serve as Douglas County Extension Agent

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Mallory Meek will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Douglas County as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective June 2, 2019.  Douglas County’s office is located in Lawrence, Kansas.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Industry with a minor in business from Kansas State University.

As a student at K-State, Mallory was an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and a Livestock Mentor for the Johnson County Livestock Association.

Extension Agent – Dickinson County (Abilene)

Tony Whitehair to Serve as Dickinson County Extension Agent

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tony Whitehair will begin serving as the Dickinson County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective January 13, 2019. Dickinson County’s office is located in Abilene, Kansas.

He earned his master’s degree in Agronomy and also has a bachelor’s in Agronomy with a minor in Agribusiness, both from Kansas State University.

Whitehair has most recently been employed as an Assistant Scientist for Kansas State University.
