Position SummaryThis is a POOL position. Application materials for this adjunct position accepted on an on-going basis due to increasing demand for courses in this subject area.

Adjunct faculty members serve the college and students by providing high quality instruction and engaging in instruction related activities. Adjunct faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties.

Adjunct faculty members excel as teachers by:
Possessing sufficient professional expertise in their specific field/discipline.
Maintaining faculty credentials as required by the college’s accrediting agencies.
Selecting and developing instructional materials; planning and organizing instruction to enhance student learning; creating appropriate assignments to encourage student learning and foster higher order thinking.
Using a variety of proven methods of engagement and assessment to facilitate student mastery of learning outcomes.
Providing students constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback.
Evaluating student learning and modifying instructional methods and strategies as appropriate to meet diverse student needs.

Extension Agent – Kingman County

Grace Schneider, Kingman County Extension Agent 

Grace Schneider will begin serving as the Kingman County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent, effective May 15. Kingman County’s office is in Kingman, Kansas. 

Schneider earned her bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and industry from Kansas State University.  She has most recently been employed as a teller for Equity Bank in Great Bend, KS. 

Agriculture and Natural Resources agents develop and deliver educational programming related, but not limited, to agronomic and livestock production; agricultural economics; management and public policy; horticultural production and management; natural resources conservation; and environmental stewardship.

Agronomy Instructor – Cloud County Community College

Cloud County Community College seeks an Agronomy Instructor to begin in the Fall 2022 semester. The instructor will be responsible for teaching courses in agronomy/horticulture. Master’s degree in Agronomy or a related field required.
