Extension Agent – Cottonwood District (Great Bend)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Michelle Beran will begin serving as the Cottonwood District 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent, effective June 2, 2019. Cottonwood District has offices in Great Bend and Hays. Michelle will be based out of the Great Bend office.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism from Kansas State University.

Beran is currently serving as the Midway District 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent.

Extension Agent – Sunflower District (St. Francis)

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Heather Foxworthy will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Sunflower District as a Livestock Production Extension Agent, effective June 30, 2019. Sunflower District has offices in Sharon Springs, St. Francis and Goodland.  Heather will be based in the St. Francis office.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from California State University and her Master’s in Animal Science, Breeding and Genetics from Colorado State University. Foxworthy has most recently been employed as a graduate research assistant at Colorado State University.
