Agriculture Teacher – Junction City Middle School

Qualifications:                         *Current Kansas Teaching Certificate with endorsement appropriate to the assignment on file in the Devin Center

                                                *Health certificate on file in Devin Center

                                                *Highly Qualified according to state of Kansas requirements

BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE

Agriculture science teachers educate students about agriculture, food and natural resources. Through these subjects, agriculture science teachers educate students on a wide variety of skills, including science, math, communications, leadership, management and technology. In addition, this position may advise/support the local FFA chapter and work closely with agricultural education teachers and students at the high school.
