Extension Agent – Southwind District

4-H Youth Development, Southwind District

Kendal Henson will begin serving as a Southwind District 4‑H youth development extension agent, effective May 12. Southwind District has offices in Erie, Fort Scott, Iola and Yates Center, Kansas. Henson’s primary office is in Yates Center.

Henson earned his bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He has most recently been employed as a national salesman for Sullivan Supply Inc. in Dunlap, Iowa.

4-H youth development agents develop and deliver educational programs for school-aged youth. This includes supporting community clubs, out-of-school programs, school enrichment, volunteer management, and outreach to create new program opportunities with new and existing community partners.
