Lakin Cherry will begin serving as the Grant County agriculture and natural resources extension agent, effective Jan. 7. Grant County’s office is in Ulysses, Kansas.
Cherry earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and journalism as well as animal sciences and industry from Kansas State University. She has most recently been employed as a marketing and communications specialist for Agri Trails Coop, Inc.
