Extension Agent – Johnson County

Lexi Ray will begin serving as the Johnson County 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent, effective April 17. Johnson County’s office is in Olathe, Kansas. 

Ray earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Emporia State University and her master’s degree in museum studies from the University of Kansas.  She has most recently been employed as the director of community engagement for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka in Topeka, KS. 

4-H Youth Development Agents develop and deliver educational programs for school-aged youth.  This includes supporting community clubs, out-of-school programs, school enrichment, volunteer management, and outreach to create new program opportunities with new and existing community partners.
