MANHATTAN, Kan. – Ami Lin will join the staff of K-State Research and Extension – Johnson County as the 4-H Youth Development Agent, effective June 3, 2018. The Johnson County office is located in Olathe, KS.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and her master’s degree in Education both at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lin has most recently been employed as a science teacher for USD 231 at Trail Ridge Middle School in Gardner, Kansas.
4-H Youth Development agents develop and deliver programs aimed at helping youth develop life skills, including a positive self-concept, an inquiring mind, a concern for the community, healthy interpersonal relationships and sound decision making.
